Some amazing fun with water colour. The theme is going to be a Market Scene with lots of fun techniques, wild colours and beautiful light.
MARCH 2015: Two days of painting at the St Francis Bowling Club with lots of space to spread your experienced or beginner wings.
Christine Chapman is coordinating the event. Thank you Christine for this wonderful assistance.
APRIL 2015: Two days of painting at the Methodist Church Plettenberg Bay.
You will be guided step by step to create a vibrant and delightful scene with flowers and people.
Bring any pictures of market scenes you may wish to try out and some old magazines so we can look at people and postures for the scene.
For Painting number one ....
| What to Bring: Water colour paper 300 gram and two sizes (A4 and A3) Spray bottle Jar for water Small condiment containers for wet paint Paper towel or old dishcloths Old towel for splashy work Table cloth to protect tables Apron Black "Maizey plastic" boards, (I will bring some extras for those who do not already know about my way of stretching paper.) Brushes - flat wide and some round Erasers, 2B pencil Tracing paper and prestick Paints - Bring what you have or look at the picture along side and see what I used. Also some sap green and hookers green. |
