Lieja kept trying to get the painting "right" but it seemed to be asking for some reckless and inspired work - so on went lots more paint and plastic wrap and then a painting emerged that was just delightful, unique and so full of Life. In Honour of Leija's husband we painted the lilies.
Being back at the bowling club in St Francis Bay was wonderful and sharing time painting with a group of inspired and talented artist just made the two days skip by too fast. Thank you always to the bowling club for allowing us the use of the fabulous space and to Christine Chapman and Heather Funston for gathering the artist and doing all the background work. I appreciate that Berto Mostert and John Greenwood traveled from Port Elizabeth and Gesina Audie from Jeffreys Bay.
